High blood pressure is not a necessary problem

Tsimane is indigenous people living in Bolivia in villages of 20-30 families. They are mainly farmers, and in addition, they hunt and fish.
Since the end of the last century, they have been the subject of many studies, especially because they do not develop heart problems similar to those of advanced societies as they grow older. Remarkably, their blood pressure rises much less than that of other people as they age.
So high blood pressure is not a necessary problem. Most likely, if we recognize its causes, we will be able to keep it at satisfactory levels, providing unparalleled protection to our health. It is, therefore, worth studying it!
